_Shape5_imageslide_academic_intropicC.I.S.D. Student Art Show  is generally held in April and is sponsored by the local Sagebrush Painters. This event, which showcases the many talented young artists in the Canadian High School Art Class, promises to be an annual affair.



 
July 4th Celebration PDF Print E-mail

rvpm_frontpage2 July 4th Celebration:   This celebration keeps us very busy. The museum hosts an art exhibit in the gallery room and from 2pm – 4pm the museum hosts an Artist Reception for the featured artist of the month. We invite you to take a break from the heat by joining us in the Museum Gallery Room to meet the artist and enjoy refreshments and cookies.



 
Gala & Auction Fundraiser PDF Print E-mail

ranching_intropic2The Annual Gala and Auction Fundraiser  is a fun and exciting event held around September or October. Generous local and area merchants donate items to be auctioned off while guests enjoy a catered meal and listen to live music. 2012 marks the museum’s 18th Gala. In 2010, the Gala Auction raised over $16,000 for museum projects.



 
Annual Fall Foliage Festival PDF Print E-mail

_Shape5_imageslide_fallfoliage_intropicThe Annual Fall Foliage Festival  is a beautiful time in Canadian where visitors come to enjoy the wonderful events and breathtaking foliage. Stop by the museum from 2PM – 4PM for our Artist Reception, meet our guest artist of the month and enjoy refreshments. We also host a very popular annual Quilt Show which displays over 60 colorful and intricate quilts.



 
Mother Daughter Luncheon PDF Print E-mail

women_history_intro4The Mother Daughter Luncheon  held for the first time in May 2007. This luncheon attracts many mothers, daughters, grandmas, aunts and sisters. Special educational programs are given during the luncheon and a delicious lite lunch is served.



 
Ladies Hat Luncheon PDF Print E-mail

women_history_intro3Ladies Hat Luncheon:  We normally hold this event every other year during the early fall. The Museum Board selects and honors a local lady who has made a difference in the community. A catered lunch, style show and entertainment are provided for the honoree and guests. Past honorees have been Helen Abraham, Nan Ezzell, Cleo Isaacs, Agnes Adams, Billie Ullom and Virginia Rogers.
