GALA SUCCESS The River Valley Pioneer Museum’s 18th Gala and Auction Fundraiser was a huge success thanks to many of you!! We want to thank all the Gala Hosts, donors to the auction and attendee’s for making this year’s gala a successful event. As guests entered and made their way to the silent auction area, they were greeted by an assortment of donated items and seventy-one bid sheets. Sixteen live auction items were also on display for guests to admire. Tables in the gallery room were decorated with fall colors, small pumpkins and gourds by Canadian Gardens. The evening was lots of fun with about 115 guests who were welcomed and thanked for their generosity then served a delicious prime rib dinner by Alexander’s. As guests enjoyed their dinner they were entertained by local talent Lonnie Cox. Mike McKinney led the live auction which is always comical and loosens up the crowd up. This year’s gala grossed roughly $20,000 for the museum. We really appreciate your continued support for this fundraising event and the museum. Such events would not be possible without your generosity.
