MUSEUM NOTES This weekend, Saturday, October 6th, is the museum’s largest fundraising event for the year. A large selection of donations for the live and silent auctions have been received. This week we will print bid sheets for all the donated items deemed for the silent auction, prepare a list of the live auction items for emcee Mike McKinney, set-up the silent auction section, and set-up and decorate the gallery room to accommodate our gala guests. Monday and Tuesday the gallery room walls were adorned with Maurice Bernson artwork lent by Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, from our own collection and from the private collections of those in the community. Final menu choices have been made for the delicious prime rib dinner being prepared by Alexander’s Deli. Our guests will definitely not leave hungry! We have had a change in our entertainment for the evening. Unfortunately, Brett Duke will be unable to sing for us this year due to some needed hand surgery however, guest will not be disappointed as Lonnie Cox, without a doubt, will keep the audience tapping their toes to his selection of songs. The doors to the gala will open at 6pm and we will do our best to begin at 6:30pm. For ticket information, please call 806-323-6548.

MUSEUM CLOSED The museum will be closed Monday, October 8
