MUSEUM NOTES: JUNE 27,  2018

NEW EXHIBIT

We are in the process of hanging our next exhibit, “Working Hands.” This traveling exhibit features forty detailed photographs, focusing on ranching, oil, and technology. Human hands produced goods and income that kept the economy going. These images suggest stories about work and workers. Topics included are: equipment, workplaces, teamwork, starting the day, and relaxation. This exhibit will be on display for the next six weeks. “Working Hands” is an exhibition organized by Humanities Texas.

JULY 4TH HOURS
The museum will be open on July 4th, hours are 11:00am-3:00pm. Join us after the parade, cool off, and dig deep into the history of Hemphill County and Canadian.
