As I am looking at our calendar, it is hard to believe that this year is almost over. We would like to let you know that the museum will be closed the week between Christmas and News Years, December 26 through January 2nd. We wish each of you a special Christmas season, safe travels to all who are on the road.

Here is a brief look at the plans we have so far for next year.

Lastly, we would like to thank the community and Hemphill County for the support you offer us on a daily basis. Remember that this is your museum and we are working diligently to offer an informed and enjoyable visit.

If you live in Canadian and/or ranch in Hemphill County, we would love to include your information on our monitors that will be installed in our exhibits. This is open to any and every one in Canadian and Hemphill County and we hope you will participate. Just put your family/ranching history on a disk or thumb drive with a photo and drop off to us at the museum. These histories will be available for all visitors to access and will provide a wealth of information on our area.

Our gallery room is available to rent for your family gathering or business meeting. Call us at 806-323-6548, and we will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
